nevermind1331
its a western digital, im actually not sure of the rpms but i do believe its 7200. i actually have two of these, but one is a 320 gig drive, and the only difference is the model number has 16 as opposed to 32 when they both connect. I am positive the 320 is 7200 rpms, so by that logic the 160 should be as well. As for pricing, make an offer, im really not trying to make a killing or anything, just anything that seems fair ill go for. the drive probably costs about 75 and about 25 for the enclosure, then whatever you deem for the value of whats on the drive - the depreciation. so, id accept offers around 100 i think. my ebay name is kskomputers 74 positives, 1 negative (impatient {censored}, i fixed the problem but hed already give a negative) hopefully, that addresses most concerns. ill try and get a smart readout to give you guys an idea of exactly how its functioning. kday
100 is steep IMO. I got a 200 GB HD external hard drive from Fry's for $40. It's really nice too. Just be careful when selling hard drives. Be sure to completely wipe your data so it is not recoverable. Believe it or not there is quite a bit of identity/credit card theft from thieves buying used hard drives.
nevermind1331
how you got one for 40 dollars ill never know, i came up with that price simply because the hard drive itself costs somewhere around 70-80, and the enclosure should be about 20-30. seems fair to me, but thats not to take it that i would take a lower offer.
