cyrana
http://www.macworld.com/news/2006/02/21/event/index.php It does mention the invites were done via email, and I think they are usually on paper, so maybe it is a hoax.

ampTK
I think they are normally sent by email (but in a totally different format and style) CNet's News.com says apple confirmed it's true. Expect no big thing. probably will be some minor "fun" releases like an ipod Boombox. That and an iBook announcement (probably not a release) since the education market buying season is coming and they need to give information of what's is coming. IT WON'T BE the TABLET nor the VIDEO IPOD, as some over reacted people say around the web. Those will come later, the tablet.. who knows. The Video iPod will come when the new home entrainment platform is released. Maybe April 1. Ouch
Agreed, definitely not the tablet mac or the video ipod. Any takers for the intel mac mini? It's a technically easy product to create and with the front row updates for intel etc i could see it coming.
cyrana
I vote for mini or iBook or both with Core Solo CPUs in them.
ampTK
If the rumor about the Mac mini /w DVR and other special multimedia capabilities is true, then it will come out when the rest of the home multimedia thing comes. I think is more likely the iBook/MacBook, but the invitation was so simple, so... unexciting (in my opinion) that I don't think it will be a big deal. Jobs will probably release all the minor stuff he had for MacWorld but wasn't ready. And he's going to left all the good stuff for Apple's birthday in April. Of course there will be the reglamentary announce of how many bizillions of MBP were ordered, and of curse he will comment on ITMS sold their Billionth song (soon to happen).
