Hi!

I've been folowing all the instructions on this (and other) site, but no luck to start up Final Cut Pro 6.

The other applications like Motion or Compressor, DVD studio etc are working fine no problem.

I DID EVERY SINGLE STEP that all of you guys wrote about this topic....but still not working. :(

It's been 1 month already that I'm trying to fix it, but now i lost every hope....I really need your help!!!

What information should I send beside these:

-Intel Pentium 4 (HT) 3 Ghz

-Gigabyte GA-8I848P-G wth built in ethernet (marvell yukon, working fine, and it is en0)

-nVIDIA Quadro FX 500/600 , recognized wIth Natit, but only one monitor is supprted(I guess because 1 is analog)

it supports Quartz Extreme but I cannot see Rotation (maybethis is the reason)

-2GB RAM

-250 GB SATA

Is it a videocard??

Thx!!!

Hi everyone!

1 thing I noticed. When I install FCP pro 5 it works fine, but I dont have the rest of the studio.

When I upgrede from (downloaded) FCP2 dmg. the problem is back again. Everything is working except FCP 6. The interesting thing is when I check the "GET INFO" at FCP 5 it says "'Application/Power PC"

, when I check it at FCP 6 it says "'Application/Universal".

As I guess the ppc application should not work on my Uphuck 10.4.9 and the universal should.

Any suggestions?

FCP 5.1 was the first universal version so that is why fcp 5 shows up as a rosetta PPC application.

HAve you checked these requirements below? MAybe your machine just don'T cut it... do you have QE AND CI active? You need both...

and editing without dual display is a real drag, I would check on reconfig or upgrading your system... Good luck, ninetto

Minimum Requirements for Installation FCP6:

Hi Ninetto!

Thanks for reply,

Is QE =Quartz Extreme and CI =Core Image, if so my AGP Quadro FX 500/600 supports it.

Is it enough if the system rekognize it this way or I have to enable is separetly?

If yes can you explain me how?

My procesor is regognize as Intel Core Solo. Do you think that it might be a prolem

that my procesor is not core duo? It's onla pentium 4 with HT.

I attached a picture about config.
