Hello,

I'm really interested in trying to get OSX running on my laptop. I am curious if any one has tried on this perticular model? Does anyone know if it is possible and what problems may I run into?

I'd also like to dual boot it with xp if possible. Currently i'm running xp pro and Linux Mint(running from a portable 120gb hd). Would it be possible to install OSX onto a portable hard drive like my linux install and run it from there, that way I don't screw up the factory set partions on my laptop hd?

I'm completely new to Mac's and OSX but I really want to experiment with it. Well, any input would be greatly appreciated. I've tried searching the forums on here but the search on this site isn't working, getting some syntrax error or something like that.

Anyways heres my specs, thanks in advance:

hi, i did it successfully on my laptop in an external hd. the configuration is in my signature.

you can try with the leo4all dvd, but i can't put the link to the torrent i used because torrent can't be linked (i think i've read it somewhere in the forum). In the driver section i'm sure you'll find all the links for the kext (drivers) to use. I use dhe boot loader of the bios and i think you can do that too. if you write the full configuration i'll try to help you... according to my low experience obviously. I hadn't problems with Vista installed in internal HD....
