Hi,

my EVGA 8800 GTS 512 is working with Leopard 10.5.2 (iAtkos) and nVinject. QE/CI is enabled and most things work fine. But the performance is much too low. I get half the points in xBench than guys with a ATI 1900 which has 1/4 of the raw power. Is there any way to use its full potential?

The Scores:

Results 231.98

System Info

Its not only xBench. I also see sometimes that the graphical interface does not run as smooth as when only one window is open. AND YES, i use the right DVI port ;-) WoW fps aren't famous too :-(

THX for help,

You know I'd really like to see if anyone has an answer for this, because I also have a 8800 GTS 512 with QE/CI enabled (latest NVInject) that I feel is a tad on the slow side.

The slowness feels like it does when booting up with wrong fsb setting. But fsb is supposed to be auto detected and you can always overide fsb with a fsb=XXX argument to the bootloader. But perhaps it does not work well for some reason? Perhaps we might ask netkas about the lagging. Perhaps he can fix it?
