Acer Laptop, Marvel Yukon 8038, PCI Problem

(Main problem is in red. Reading all of this will give more information about it though.)

I have an Acer TravelMate 2480-2779 laptop

I have a Marvell Yukon Fast Ethernet 8038 Controller that is PCI

Ok i've been working with this for a good while. I have tested this card under iATKOS and Kalyway first with the vanilla/stock kernel.

Results:

Kalyway: Failed

iATKOS: Failed

I also noticed I got alot of ACPI errors. I'm not sure, but I think the reason this card is not working is because of how the BIOS assigns it resources. In Ubuntu, when starting up I get alot of PCI errors about it not being able to allocate resources for PCI or something.

So after looking into the fourms I found out that I was correct when I said it was the BIOS. So after talking to a couple of people, I came across a page that has a patched kext file for this (will link the site in this area later). So after adding this patched kext and modifying "info.plist" in the AppleYukon2.kext like somebody mentioned, Here are my results yet again with the vanilla/stock kernel:

Results:

Kalyway: Failed

iATKOS: Failed

So after I see that two other Acer users have gotten this card working, I asked them what kernel's they had. Apparently, the vanilla/stock kernel does not work on my computer so then I do another test after doing the above:

Results:

Kalyway: N/A

iATKOS: Passed

In iATKOS, I did not select the Stock ACPI and Kernel. With that done, this gave me a battery meter and there were less ACPI errors at boot (i think). So after seeing that, I just patched the files I needed and then after I rebooted, I typed -v just to see how it went and I get a kernel panic with something about the file I just patched being missing and also some fatal ACPI error. So then i decided to try out the -x thing (along with -v). Surprisingly, it let me boot up. As it was booting, I noticed alot of PCI stuff going up the screen and a Yukon thing also. So once in safemode, I tested the ethernet and it worked fine, light, and connection. So it must of been either the Stock Kernel or ACPI.

So later on today I decided to reinstall Kalyway (because I like it better) along with the vanilla kernel and stock acpi. When i booted up with -v I noticed a ApplePCI error somewhere that I never saw before on iATKOS. So maybe this file is causing me a problem because if I were to try to patch the two files I did as in iATKOS, I would kernel panic at next reboot and not even -x would boot me on Kalyway.

So here is the question finally lol. Is there a way I could fix the ApplePCI error I get on startup? Because if I could fix that, I could possibly then try out the patch again and hope for success, and later on try to fix my card reader (which is PCI).

I'll try to post the error screen later.

ApplePCIConfigurator and some other ACPI things said they needed dependicys or something. This message shows up always wether it's on install or after but this is the first time I noticed the PCI Configurator message.
