BlackCH
I know is a bit old, but since many PPL still using my ISO I've upload a PPF2 to fix the booting issues on ICH9. Find it at TPB. Hope it'll work now.

BlackCH
no, is a small file; it includes only a new Extensions.mkext file for the DVD and the last ICHx driver by dune. adding updates will require to make a new ISO probably ('cos the size)

edmondwck
Hello BlackCH, Thanks for your release. This is a good Tiger release. However, it seems that Chinese input is removed. What package is required to be installed in order to enable Chinese input?
BlackCH
New (old) XxX 10.4.11 Iso on the way with: Java for Mac OS X 10.4, Release 6 iTunes 7.6.1 for Mac QuickTime 7.4.1 for Tiger X11 User + X11 Update 2006 1.1.3 AirPort Utility 5.3.1 for Tiger Safari 3.1 Security Update 2008-002 v1.0 (Universal) And a few more things. It will be soon up. Hello BlackCH, Thanks for your release. This is a good Tiger release. However, it seems that Chinese input is removed. What package is required to be installed in order to enable Chinese input? ...maybe installing the chinese lenguage packages from another release or original install disk (those are not includded in the xxx iso). I never done this though, so I can not say that really works.

dbitalia
Hi Guys im currently downloading 3 files, xxx 10.4.11 intel & ppf 1 & 2, i take it the ppf downloads are patches for the image, do i need to apply these patches to the original iso and create another iso containing everything?? BlackCH
also atv4mac if its stable enough ;-) that need to be installed after you've installed the main system, xcode tools. As far as I understand how it works it cannot be integrated on the image 'as it is'. Thanks in Advance. GMAx3100 only works on 10.5 (if you are lucky) same goes for the 8500gt, ALC888 is already included, theres no drivers for the Intel 82566 AFAIK. I need to know where did you get that IOATAFamily kext and who made it (link) 'cos might be already in too.

I downloaded 10.4.10 v6 from mirc which include that IOATAFamily kext, and it detects OB intel DG33FB marvell IDE controller (0X610111ab) and other ICH9 Ports. While I checked your iso which during installation giving "still waiting for root device" error.

pitap
Thank you so much for the hard work! I always thought that there is a need for 10.4.11 install disc to be around, as there may be people like me who would rather not deal with all the trouble/concerns when Leopard updates from one version to another. Many thanks! P.S. It would be nice if you could include iDefrag as part of disc boot utility apps like the kalyway install disc does.
jFb
I agree. Tiger is still more stable version of OS X than Leo current version. And occasional upgrades are more than welcome. Excellent job BlackCH!
