I have a simple dock. Left side is

 

Finder,dashboard,mail,ical,addbook,msn,safar,itunes,iphoto,garage,photoshop,phot

booth,stickies ;) (L), preview (I use A LOT), tm, preference

 

Right side,

Apps

"work apps" (office 2008 and iwork)

downloads

document.

 

Yes I modified my dock a couple of times but for some reason I prefer the original.. sometimes though.. I like the 2-D dock better..

I hardly use the dock anymore, Quicksilver has seen to that. does anyone know of a way of getting rid of the dock?

Move the "Dock.app" from core services into the trash? If it did work, which i am not trying cos i love mah dock, you would some how need to kill it for a minute or two as it always starts when its been killed via terminal. :)
