Try this one it autosenses the Headphones, Int Speakers, each with it's own volume control!(somebody very clever made it!!)

It only shows "Internal Speakers" in Sounds but as soon as you plug in your phones it switches

Post your vendor/device id and revision number. It's only ALC268 if it's rev 3 of " 8086:284b "

The package installs the correct kext, and it installs properly.

I understand, my sound card: Realtek ALC268 @ Intel 82801IB. :)

It worked: ALC268_Installer2.zip :)

Thank you very much.

Hi guys,

I'm coming back since the 10.4.6 times where we could barely start at a proper resolution on wide screens...

anyway.. i've got a GIGABYTE M912 NetBook with a ALC268 audio CHip...

i've tested all the kexts available here and there.. but no one is working... some kexts recognize my audio chip but no sound is emited at all... and other kexts simply disable my audio card...

Any clue on "how to get it work" ?

I'm with Leopard 10.5.4

Thanks

Mine doesnt work at all with any of the above provided.

Running 10.5.5 iDeneb

on Toshiba Satellite x205-SLI6

I get 2 audio output devices that have volume control but there is no sound being output.

Windows also shows 2 audio devices for Realtek High Definition Audio.

This laptop is equipped with HDMI if that makes a difference

Below is the info for my hardware from Vista x64
