Everything is working, and everything worked with the installation procedure. Now, I'm going for the Graphic update, and maybe the security update. Is the Graphic update safe ? Specs below. It worked for me no problem but it might be a different story for you. What i can tell you is back up everything you have then install. Please remember "Do at your own risk". Hakemon Posted March 26, 2008 Share Posted March 26, 2008 Ok, this updated really screwed me. I tried again, but this time using the VGA port instead of the DVI port. Lol and behold I get a picture. But I want my DVI. So I restore the backed up GMA950 and IntegratedFrameBuffer drivers, and while I get a desktop, the menu bar and pop up menus are SO screwed up it's not funny. How can I get rid of this update? I want it gone... EDIT: Restored my graphics.. You need to use Pacifist and use the Leopard disc you installed with (in my case the Kalyway 10.5.1 DVD), and load the 10.5.1.pkg and restore the OpenGL framework. All will be back, as long as you restored the backed up KEXTs. I only backed up the GMA 950 KEXTs, so I can only imagine if I got say an ATI or Nvidia card, I'll need to reapply the leopard graphics update as those KEXTs expect the new framework still. Intel 950GMA If your on Leo4All v2, I think the graphics update is already intergraded into that OS and the Intel 950GMA works fine on it too.
