Embio Posted March 23, 2008 Share Posted March 23, 2008 Do I have first hand experience? No. But by comparing the specs of 802.11n vs. eSATA I don't really think I need to. You can pick up 500GB eSATA drives for $130ish which will work wonderfully with Time Machine, AND be faster than a Time Capsule. There is not enough added value in the "wireless feature" for me to spend more money, AND take a performance hit. Different strokes for different folks I think we'd all like to know where you got a Macbook with eSATA if you dont have a laptop as a main machine then your commentry is sort of... how do I put this..... irrelevant?
