Grav3Mind Posted February 16, 2006 Share Posted February 16, 2006 I was looking at my install dvd to see what all files where there and it seems that my version doesnt come with ANY sound drivers(i dont kno if any of them do but i was just curious). is there anything i can do BESIDES RE-patching a new dvd with the new patch from Jas (or new est patch) and having to totally wipe my current install?. i have the ac97audio.kext problem. i already know how to put the new kext in there through the terminal and all that without getting any errors but i still dont have any sound even though everything shows up working. shifoe Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 I got the sam erroe here with the sound. Says the sound kext was installed incorrectly. Where do I get the kext file tha twill work?
