revolt_team Posted March 4, 2008 Share Posted March 4, 2008 hello there, i have a compaq presario v3020us, almost works fine (video (need 950 patch), usb , quick buttons, sound (only output 2-channel), trackpad (pached)) the only problem, how many of yours is the wireless, my lapy has a ipw3945 intel and the driver is still in development (tnx all people that works on that), so i decided to bought a realtek 8187B ( encore USB wireless drive) but i cant use it, because, the driver appers to be installed ok but it doesnt work i downloaded it from realtek web, and in the description says it is leo 10.5 compatible so i don't know why doesn't work, not detected on network configuration as nothing, and the led of the usb is off. i tried to install the 8187 universal driver, and i can see the ethernet on network configuration and the led is on now but when i try to detect some AP's from realtek wireless tool nothing is detected. anyone can install this wireless usb in leopard? which drivers did u use? thanks.
