aduffbrew
Boot Camp 2.0 installed... both Leopard and Vista are working beautifully. I do have one annoyance though. When booting to Vista I get the following error message multiple times: "Unrecognized Partition Table for Drive 80. Please rebuild it using a Microsoft-compatible FDISK tool." Eventually Vista shuts up and boots. Is this normal? How can it be fixed? Thanks!
Ellis99
im having the exact same problem on my iMac. I think it happend because i installed XP service pack 1 first, then upgraded that to windows vista... its not a big problem, it just slows the booting time down
Paco Macos
Found the solution on the Apple message board. You just need to download a program called "EasyBCD"Available here: http://neosmart.net/software.php and click the "Write MBR" button.
LCI
Or you can fix the error using the repair option available on the the Vista installation disk. Here is the tutorial I used: How to Fix Unrecognized Partition Table for Drive
ludacrisvp
Well the real fix would be to use a legal genuine version of Windows Vista. The reason that this is seen is due to a BIOS emulation hack that bypasses activation. So either go legal or deal with the slow booting process. You will see at the top "Vista Loader X.X.X" This will tell you that it is booting through a software crack of the activation process.
