settolo
http://www.opensource.apple.com/darwinsource/10.4.4.x86/ Apple is beginning to post the sourcecode projects related to MacOS 10.4.4. The list is not complete yet. It could be usefull expecially if they opensource the boot loader...
mk14
Apparently, Apple isn't planning to release the code of their x86 bootloader. The list of files for Darwin corresponding to 10.4.4.x86 still is much shorter than the 10.4.4.ppc list. Same with the 10.4.5 releases. http://www.opensource.apple.com/darwinsource/ So I took a look at the boot packages for 10.4.5.ppc (since 10.4.4.x86 does not contain any), and in "boot-122", there is a folder called i386, although its contents do not seem to have anything to do with EFI, but neither anything that appears to be related to OpenFirmware. Indeed, one of the sources is written in Assembly (BIOS?).
