Just installed Zeph's latest 10.5.2 DVD and selected the appropriate driver for my ATI video card but it's not installing.

I got a Sapphire Radeon 1950 GT and this is what comes up in system profiler.

Device ID: 0x7288

Revision ID: 0x0000

BTW yes I'm a noob at Mac.

I tried all that but nothing worked. I might be installing the drivers incorrently, again I'm a Mac noob. ;)

I downloaded 10_5_2_9c31_7288_.zip and then draged all the extracted files to /system/library/extensions/ . Then I drag the extensions.mkext to the recycle bin and use Disk Utility to repair disk permissions.

Then I restart and prey.

After restart the card is still ATI UNKOWN CARD, then I decided to download and run Natit from that same link and restart my computer only to never have the Mac never boot up. Just watching the wheel turning forever.

I'm sure I'm doing this wrong.
