Any standard USB keyboard and mouse should work. I wouldn't recommend one that requires extra software in a Windows installation to work. It also must be USB, no PS/2. (real) Macs never had PS/2, it was straight from Apple Desktop Bus to USB.

i've got a cheap ass micrsoft wireless usb keyboard and mouse....works perfectly

with vanilla and fix, ps/2 doesnt work. Dont use apple keyboards.. or mouse. Right click feature is nice on normal mice.. and extra buttons..
I use a apple keyboard sometimes when im on my dads mac.. it sucks compared to my saitek gaming keyboard (yes it is a top of the line 50 dollar keyboard) but im sure other pc keyboards are better than the apple keyboard. Its pretty but it is hard to type. The keys need to be hit twice as hard.
