Notebook Toshiba Satellite P20-962 finaly works fast (but only SSE2 & VESA)[b]

Hi, I have the same laptop - I installed - iAKtos v1 and used the settings you suggested. When I try to boot, I just reach a blank screen. The Disk has 1 partition. The partition is MBR and is active. Do i need to install the Kalway combo update before it will boot (if so how?) or do I need to change something in the BIOS?
Many thanks
