NO Install Methods summary: Generic Boot-132 CD, Retail 10.5.6 Leopard installation http://redirectingat.com/?id=292X457&u...132__Leopard%29 I used followng example (with modification - I had to manually remove nvkush.kext before installing gfx, look for explanation below): http://www.insanelymac.com/2009/01/install...-boot-132-hack/ (I don't know why but this link is modifiied every time by the forum ?!?! ... use i h a c k i n t o s h istead of insanelymac for upper link) Does EFI and/or the Vanilla kernel work? Vanilla kernel works (since original 10.5.6 Leopard installation DVD was used) Motherboard Manufacturer: Gigabyte Motherboard Model: EP45-DS3L BIOS Version: F10 BIOS setup options: SATA should be set as "native", "AHCI". I am using it overclocked to 3.2 GHz, which is ~23% faster than quad core Mac Pro (2009) but slower than Mac Pro 8 core. Graphic is faster. Only issue is shutdown/restart... the computer must be turned off manually (the OS X shuts down completely, but some fans are still working - so you have to turn it manually). This is really minor issue. crazycarlwilliams
Notebook Toshiba Satellite P20-962 finaly works fast (but only SSE2 & VESA) Hi, I have the same laptop - I installed - iAKtos v1 and used the settings you suggested. When I try to boot, I just reach a blank screen. The Disk has 1 partition. The partition is MBR and is active. Do i need to install the Kalway combo update before it will boot (if so how?) or do I need to change something in the BIOS? Many thanks
