heylo!

i've been running Uphuck 10.4.9 for a good while now with no problems really.

that is until i recently tried to install a new graphics driver so i could use dual displays.

when both displays were connected DVI+VGA, only the VGA monitor would come up.

i have a GeForce 6200 128MB PCI-e graphics card.

i tried installing Punk92's NVidia 1.9 installer.

this installer is using NVinject 0.2.1 and 10.5.2 beta drivers.

after i did this, my computer would hang on the boot

after "Starting up Mac OSX" was displayed and the

progress bar reached 100%.

i've messed with removing certain kexts which sometimes allows

me to boot but only with a standard default display driver.

if i try to install natit or titan or nvinject etc, the computer

will just hang on startup. sometimes it will hang before

reaching the "Starting Mac OSX" part.

so how do i clean my kexts and get back to where i was?

thanx!

sir demon

You cannot. If you have removed some kext's then the only solution is to reinstall or copy them back from an other installtion. If you have to remove some kext (for instance NVinject) then boot with '-s' then type 'mount -uw /' and remove the desired kexts with 'rm -R /System/Library/Extentions/*the_kexst_without_the_/*'
