orange.x
Here's my thing. I finially got this weekend OSx running @ my laptop. I used the deadmoo's image, and extracted it to my harddisk and i ran perfect. So now I wanted to make a dual boot with my Windows thingy and OSx offcourse. I followed the following tut ( http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...le_And_Accurate ) and everything was great. I used the way of booting via the Chain0, cause it was the most simple way to do it, I guessed :censored2: I found the file ( Chain0 ) on my earlier burned Marklar Image disk and copied it to my C root. Edited the boot.ini and reboot!!! First I wanted to let Windows just works as it does, and that is! But when I boot my osx os... it goes... my hdd led burns for a while, and later it just doenst do anything, after i press enter, my screen is still black and a blank cursos blinks... That's like all... I didn't wait a half an hour... Maybe i just need to do that, but did i do something wrong? Or is there another simple solution to boot my osx..? maq
What is your system? Also, how far does the boot get - what do you see on your screen after you select to boot osx, anything?
orange.x
What is your system? Also, how far does the boot get - what do you see on your screen after you select to boot osx, anything? I just see a cursor blink. I got help from a friend. Downloaded the darwin image, and using that chain0 now. Changed boot.ini to C:\chain0 ... "Quick Boot"="Yes".. I already deleted my osx partition, starting over right now, made the partition and copying now. Another question, why do i have to skip the first 63 blocks? that doesn't make any sense... In this install i didn't do it, maybe it helps
