skn
Nothing unusual in my case: Saturn is the main computer and the others (including my wireless router) are its moons: titan, hyperion and so on... 0uch!p0tat0, I loved the idea of using the A-Team members to name computers... KanadaKid
Through many dorm games of Halo I started going by scooter, and my computer/accessory names derived from that. scooterserver (p.o.s. hp p3 800) which just shares/downloads on my network scooterlap (p4 3.04) dualbooting osx 10.4.5 and xp (osx is the primary) scooterpen (512 mb pendrive) scooterdrive was a 250gb external, but I ended up moving the drive into scooterserver (becoming piracy_1) my drives in scooterserver were: system [15 gb] - Win xp install downloads [60 gb] - where everything downloads (sorted by complete/in progress) piracy_1 [250gb] - movies piracy_2 [250gb] - tv episodes piracy_3 [250gb] - tv runover but sadly piracy_1, the eldest, recently died... he will be missed
classclownfish
My Inspiron XPS laptop is "The Beast", and the OSx86 box has been referred to as my "rendering box", "linux box", "Vista box", "Frankenstein" or the "UFO", depending on what the OS flavour of the week is. And my scanner's name is Ivan, and he just had open heart surgery yesterday and has made a miraculous recovery. All hail Ivan!

planetbeing
My old laptop was named Elphaba. Because it had an unpleasant run-in with some water, but I got it fixed again. I don't think anyone will get this reference though. My desktop that I just built a couple of months ago has a name reflective of some of my typical computer geek hubris. It's called Monolith. Because it's shiny and black and such, and it's the most powerful machine I've ever owned.
