My rig beats all three before and maybe several to come, especially when it comes to disc-performance, since i built in the fastet RAID-Card available for mac (Highpoint RocketRAID 3520 with INTEL IOP81341 - 8 SATA-Ports - RAID 6) with 2 WD-RAptors and several other HDs... :guitar:

After I buy my Mac Pro with 2 x 2.8GHz Xeons (8 cores in total), 10GB of 800MHz DDR2 ECC FB RAM (2x1GB + 4x2GB), Geforce 8800GT 512MB, and 2 x 500GB 7200RPM hard drives, and a 30" monitor, it will pwn all the macs and hackintoshes in this thread. Except the disc performance, in which theotherone's computer outshines (but I don't really care about disc performance)

2x 3.2Ghz Quad core

RocketRaid 2320

4x 1TB drives

2x 30" ACDs

14GB FB-DIMMs

8800gt

x2 (two workstations)

Hi!

I only got the standard graphics card... How did you get the 8800 GT so soon?

Are they available in the US? Can someone make an eBay-auction or something and sell me this {censored}?

Yeah!! I'm that desperate!

To get it from the online Apple Store I have to wait 5-7 weeks... Can I just buy a regular PC-graphics card with the 8800GT-chipset?

I just have the new Jan 08 Mac Pro

2 x quad core 2.8

2 gb (6 more on order) memory

stock drive + second 500 gb drive

Apple 23" LCD

Ordered it a while ago, so have a standalone 8800GT on order. Too bad the wait on the standalone part is so long! (I think mine is saying 27 March delivery atm)

i have my Haxintosh which is a celeron D315 over clocked to 3.0Ghz(2.26Ghz original) w/ 1 gig of ram and a wide ultra SCSI 3 card running five 13.5gig 15,000RPM drives in a RAID 5 set up for a total of 54 gigs on the raid and also has 3 100gig ide drives internally. That lil guy is driving/managing a grid of Twelve (12) iMac G3 400Mhz Logic boards (no CRT no case etc) with 256meg of ram each and each with a 7 gig HDD this cluster also includes two iMac G3 350Mhz with 512 meg of ram each for use as our secondary (kitchen and living room) computers. i doubt this is the most powerful mac here but i like it and not to mention it looks sweet taking up my 1/2 of me and the wife's walk in :-D

Lol, I used to have the "Blue Dalmation". Loved it. Sold it.

Whats funny is that my Intel Celeron died and I just happened to find a G3 400Mhz Indigo with 10Gb Hdd, 512mb ram, on the street. Call me cheap, but i was desperate... and still am for a better computer.
