I installed using the kalyway disk and the forward/back buttons arnt working.
I've installed USB Overdrive, the Logitech control center, and the MS control center. None of them recognize the mouse.

Same problem here. I just installed the LCC and it says there are no Logitech devices

1. You plug mouse into ps/2 while LCC expect USB

mine's in a USB port, i even tried switching different usb ports.

its a common problem on logitech mouse

Hmm, OK I plugged in an old wired Logitech mouse and it was recognized.
I plugged in a VX Revolution and it was recognized.
So it's just my G7 that is not recognized. Weird.
