Hi all,

I hope I am providing all the correct info for my problems with my Laptop. I started with a Kalyway 10.5.1 install and then applied the BrazilMac post patch. The only other non-"stocK" stuff I have installed is the Darwin PCGenUSBEHCI.kext, PCEFI 8, and the following package of ATI Kexts that someone else is using on his t60p:

http://rapidshare.com/files/74577871/ATIv5250_kexts.zip.html

Now, the only problem is that the person who modded those kexts uses a Widescreen t60p which uses the same video card but the resolution on the screen is 1600x1050. However, I have a 2007-CTO T60p which is a 14" normal aspect screen with a resolution of 1400x1050. The kexts work absolutely flawlessly with no mouse tearing or any other issues but it forces the widescreen resolutions which means my desktop gets clipped.

Now before you all jump on me, I've spent two weeks working on this problem. I have tried every suggestion on these forums including different kexts and other. I pulled my EDID using Phoenix tool and tried getting the screen working with both EFI strings and by inserting it into ATIinject.kext using PList editor. However, modding ATIinject with my EDID totally garbled the screen and it ended up looking like the image attached to this post. I also included my EDID export from Phoenix.

I'm stuck at this point and I don't know what else to try. I'm not sure if I am doing the EFI or ATIinject wrong but I'd greatly appreciate any help.

My Laptop/Card info:

Lenovo t60p 2007-CTO

ATI Mobility FireGL v5250 256MB VRAM

Vendor: 1002

device: 71D4

The supported video modes that are supposed to show up are:

640x480

800x600

1024x768

1280x1024

1400x1050

However, when I include the following into ATIinject, I only get the first 3 modes and the display is corrupted (and blue) the way it looks on the attached photo

I'm really sorry to pick up this old post. I have exactly the same hardware as you. T60p, v5250 with 256MB memory, the resolution is 1400x1050. I tried the files (ATIv5250_kexts.zip) and did everything you've done before reading this post. Now, I have the exactly same situation with you. Have you got your graphics card working with QE/CI ? Thanks in advance!
