New001
DM-Rankin: 3GHz Hackintosh P4 (rosetta): 10-20FPS (It didn't make difference on which detail level I used) 1.2GHz iBook G4: 25-40FPS (Low detail) ( 3GHz Hackintosh P4 (native): 85-120FPS (Semi-high detail) ^^ The Hackintosh tests were 800x600 in windowed mode. How about somebody else post their results with DM-Rankin?

New001
I can't be bothered with fps, but it's hardly playable with the gma900 on a 3ghz p4 How is is just hardly playable? Then the x86 part of the UniBin doesn't live and breath off raw CPU power like PPC side of UT2004 does, it might be using more of the GPU because of RenderToTexture, if you have it on, it uses the GPU more, which slows you down in your case (RenderToTexture gives things like soft-edge shadows). . . kuruu
ok, well in windowed mode with default settings i get about 30 fps if i turn down everything to low, turn of trilinear rendering, etc. i can get about 40 in full screen. playable, but not pretty =)

neztik
I try to install the Unreal 2004 OSX (original) and it just crashes. I have the patch, but I cant get the original to install. Is there a way to manually install it. It quits right after the cdkey.
enb14
I'm getting a problem with the CD Key too, it says "Invalid CD Key, you need to reinstall Unreal Tournament"
New001
I'm getting a problem with the CD Key too, it says "Invalid CD Key, you need to reinstall Unreal Tournament" It won't run on your system anyway, you have a nVidia card (no hardware acceleration). About the invalid CD-Key, if that's happening, contact epic games (I tried finding an E-Mail address. . .).
kuruu
it means you need an alternate installer. it's a tiger compatability issue. go here... http://www.macsoftgames.com/products/ut2k4...staller.tar.bz2

domino
bugger mate. Yea I read that you have to mount with toast also. I was hoping the alt. installeer would solve it. Oh well, looks like I wont be testing this for a few more weeks (broke {censored} dvd writer).

About the invalid CD-Key, if that's happening, contact epic games (I tried finding an E-Mail address. . .). with my nvidia it doesn't works but with my intel D945GNTL it works but if I try to load it on windows, it blocks my CD key and appears that message, then when I try to play it on mac the CD key is not valid anymore so what I do is use the fix installer and it works again but it I can't play UT2004 on various OS as I did with older versions in which I played in Linux and windows. And it works flawlessly.
