Toast 8.0.3 says No Recorder Found
Disk Util says the device is busy
System Profiler says the drive supports writing.
This is with Kalyway 10.5.1/EFI, BadAxe2. I've used SATA writers in the past, so I didn't bat an eye at picking up the Pioneer 212, but .. surprisingly, it is not working from any software.
Any clues?

I ended up replacing the drive with an IDE Pioneer drive and now after 10.5.2 the issue is back, sorta.
Toast says "No Recorder Found" and Disk Utility says waiting for the drive, forever.
But Profiler says it's an Apple shipping drive, is writable, etc.
10.5.2 Kalyway on top of 10.5.1 Kalyway with EFI 5.2 on a Bad Axe 2
