Wrenbird
I was pushing my components, specifically the memory and it's timings. I managed to get my DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 memory to DDR2 950 3-3-3-9. w00t! Or so I thought. I had it running (seemingly) without any problems. I rebooted to finish installing quicktime 7.4, and BAM! c1 error on startup. Basically a f***** up memory controller. The system speaker was beeping away at me like a 6 year old girl in a haunted house. So as a reaction, I . Good times.
Naruto Uzumaki
did you fix the problem or did you just royaly screwed up your ram stick?
Wrenbird
I'm pretty sure the RAM is ok, but I trashed my mobo, I believe what I royally screwed was my memory controller. It's working on the adjacent slots, but I have everything underclocked until I get a new motherboard.
