leopard doesnt detect the usb keyboard

hi i have a hp pavilion dv6645us (amd) and when i start, the leopard doesnt detect the keyboard and the mouse, whell i bought a mouse and a keyboard( i bought one, the flexible silicone keyboard) i can use but leopard doesnt detect, what i need to do?

i use xyz usb keyboard works fine.kalyway 5.1.

Any cheap one will work (inc wireless!).  Try disconnecting and reconnecting WHILST in Leopard.  Usually works...
