teeching Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 first of all ..where does this efi situated ? i think efi is not written on a rom or else but on the harddisk to provide a specialized version for apple ...and because the system comes setted up before you buy it....and when you buy the system you are using the restore dvd ..it is logical because if they have given you the install disk ..then you might be able to clean the EFI system from the disk ..AND you must re setup the efi... The thing is efi is on development stage and /or apple acts for not helping people not to easily setup the other os'es .. as i know SJ ..he must be gaining time to release better versions of intel chipsetted monsters..
