minko
Today: 10870$$$!! Peops, what do you think, will someone reach this goal an install xp ona Intelmac??!!
dru
No, I don't think they will, due to limitation in XP. I do think we'll have a windows install booting before vista though. Windows Server 2003 support EFI and it's new Partition Tables today (some dell 17x0 servers ship with it configured that way today). I haven't tried it yet, but I suspect that will be the ultimate path to success, not XP. The lack of support for the common formatted install disks will be the tricky part though. abcslayer
I smell something "commercial" here. Just like the miliondollarhomepage.
minko
haha, the milliondollar "hackthexp2intelmac" homepage :-)
abcslayer
Sorry to talk about commercial here, but after looking at that site, the first idea came to me that is "I smell smt commercial here", and I do not come back to it again. I think it is the same with some one's blog (whose nick is Computer Guru), he post on his site all of his suggestion about way of hacking OS X but he do not state that all his suggestions clearly and he promote for his site along time on both forum here. Maybe all them have read something like " how to promote your site/blog and get profits out there.....". Really sad. I think there a new wave of young people want to be the guy that creat the stupid website: million.....com. Media affects all of our life, sometimes in the bad way. hatoncat
Just to clear the air, Server 2k3 unless it's IA-64 is still dependent on the CSM, and cannot run in a pure EFI environment. The only way XP will run is the virtualization, regardless of how small it can be (and if I wanted to, it could get very small, but... alas.. too big for $10000).
