Most conexant cards work with applehda/azalia, but the Hermosa only gets speakers with that driver. UNTIL NOW!

14f1 5045 working kexts! No idea why this was so hard to find, but dammit I'm linking to it everywhere so it starts getting higher in search rankings!

Attached the ones that I'm using. delete appleazaliaaudio.kext, install these guys and voila! The only thing that doesn't work is line-in microphone, but the built in works fine. On that thread there's an alternate that has line-in working but not the internal.

Hello Everybody...

I have a Lenovo G450 / 2949

On the Mac Information audio seems to be "Intel High Definition"

the number that appears is> 0x17AA3A0D

I have tried Azalia, VoodooHDA, HDAudio, AppleHDA, etc... none has worked for me.

My Video Card seems ok, but I don`t know how to test it?

its a NVIDIA G210M, 512MB with CUDA tech.

I would really appreciate any help/suggestion to solve my problem.

I install my Snow Leopard 10.6 using:

1. EFI Boot CD

2. DVD Snow Leopard 10.6 (Google is my Friend)

3. Install BroadcomWifiInjector.ext to get my wireless working.

4. Install Boot think, now i can boot my ubuntu 10.04 LTS (I did try efi and chameleon but my mouse and keyboard were not recognized).

5. After that I update my whole system, so I`m now on 10.6.3 version.

so, need help with my Audio Card, thanks in advance. :(

You have the same laptop guts as me. You have a Hermosa CX20561 sound card. You also have the same BIOS as me as well. I am making a website for Lenovo G550/G450 to hackingtosh so any help here would be grateful and credited for.
