I am about to try the new package with a mirrored partition from my 10.5.7 install.

Thanks a lot for the continuing support - I am really thankfull for that.

BTW: Which adapter do use to hook up the 24"led Display ? I thought there is none and the only way to run it was via a graphicscard with MiniDVI.

Front or Rear?

It is working here in the front port only (better than nothing ;) )

VooDooHDA.kext will be a natural choice, for, since Legacy are giving a hell of a headache to pin config.

I myself made a Legacy before, now, no matter how I config, inputs are not working with 10.5.7 on AppleHDA.kext.

Try this, (link), It is similar to mine...

Floppys don't work in mac... deactivate them in the bios... remove all the kexts you have installed before (specially LegacyHDAPlatform... and any other Legacys you may have installed), then apply the pack, post the results.

I have reinstalled everything from scratch, removed floppy bios. pc very slow

Sorry to hear that, boot with Boot123 Cd, insert Installation DVD, go to Utilities, Terminal, cd to your volume

cd /Volumes/Mac Volume/System/Library/Extensions/

rm -rf Legacy....kext

reboot

boot with -f -v option

Done!

Sorry, did I mention to install Chameleon 2.0 Rc2? ;) Try it and let me know.

I have put another PC together, using a P5K-SE mobo, just to test things up! And they indeed work!

I using the rear one right now with Rosetta stone for testing! Works!

Plug & Play with apple hardware! :D

I am slightly confused here. The 24" LED uses this new Minidisplayport while the adapter you showed me only converts HDMI to DVI. I thought you would need something like this http://www.atlona.com/Atlona-DVI-to-Mini-D...er-p-17859.html to connect it to a regular GFX card.

Ok. Update finished I report back in a second

everything works as expected -- so far ;)

Nice :D

You mean to reinstall OS?

Maybe I have to delete some old kext for audio?

Hi, in order to get time machine to work, you need to get the IONetworkingFamily.kext (link)

Use Universal Installer to Install this kext

10.5.8 broke my timemachine. Freely translated from norwegian it now says: Timemachine could not be configured. Couldn't find the built in interface. Any thoughts?

No, keep the file

My time machine is now broken too, but I don't really know if it's related to 10.5.8 update, as I don't use my hackintosh and time machine very often. Will try the fix you propose, Jimmy.

I'm having regularly some GSOD / Kernel panic too, in precise situations. I will try some tests on my own, and if not solved, I would report my experience here to get some help.

Thanks for all your work !
