Propheus@PT
First, Sorry my English, Im Portuguese. Nice tuturial, Candice five stars. Critical points to compiling the viewer SL When you copy "fmodapi375mac/api/lib/libfmodx86.a to linden/libraries/i386-darwin/lib_release/" fmodapi375mac/api/lib/libfmodx86.a To linden/libraries/i386-darwin/lib_debug/libfmod. be sure to rename the file to "libfmod.a" In Both folders "linden/libraries/i386-darwin/lib_release/" And "linden/libraries/i386-darwin/lib_debug/" Its Extremely crucial that you edit llappviewer.cpp In code line mSerialNumber = generateSerialNumber() replace mSerialNumber = "XXXXXXXXXXXXX"; This Prevent SL Of crashing on Startup. Hope I help. Once Again Nice Tuturial Candice, Thanks help me A Lot.

Unfortunately now it hangs after a few minutes. Locks up the system tight and have to power off. MK500
Does it? with an nvidia 8600, it shouldn't work for long! there's a well known bug that freezes the computer with nVidia high-end cards! Try again for a while, just incase... I have had zero lockups. SL is working great for me.
mcmanta
Hello All, Well things have been working pretty well on my IDeneb box no problems. I though I would do a little testing with games World of War craft runs without a problem. But when I run second life I receive "This application has quit unexpectedly" I tried a updated SMBIOS from netkas but that didn't work. Any ideas??? MacMeGosh
I am thinking it's some kind of compatibility issue with it, cause I'm having the same problem as well.
