Cpgeek
I was under the impression that the basis of this project was in getting os x running on white box pc's, why is it that there hasn't been any news posts about the possibilities of porting 10.4.4 stable to intel machines? is this possible? why has there been such little talk about it? --cpgeek
errandwolfe
I was under the impression that the basis of this project was in getting os x running on white box pc's, why is it that there hasn't been any news posts about the possibilities of porting 10.4.4 stable to intel machines? is this possible? why has there been such little talk about it? --cpgeek cpgeek, I see you are new here, or at least have never posted before, so let me give you a piece of advice. Read before you write. There is plenty of info on this site, both in the wiki and the forums on getting 10.4.3 running on non-Mac hardware. The only taboo here is no talk about cracking the copy protection, the DMCA prevents discussion of that topic on US hosted servers. The front page is more of a place for relevant news, not for step by step instructions. Now as for your specific question regarding 10.4.4, you won't find much discussion of it because no one here has yet been able to get their hands on a copy. Currently the most recent OS X for Intel running on non Mac boxes is 10.4.3 revision 8F1111G. I strongly recommend you read through the wiki and the forums, THEN if you can't find your answer feel free to post your specific question in the correct forum catergory. Good luck. Swad
Yeah, errandwolfe certainly hit a lot of the things I was going to say. Mainly, you haven't seen anything because there hasn't been anything to report. When there is, we'll be the first to report on it.
