tmccommas
Does anyone know how to change the system font size in 10.5. I can't seem to find it. I have been running a lower res because the fonts are too small. I was hoping for a simple DPI setting like in windows. HELP!
westwaerts
you change system font in finder > appearance > appearance options
thecodecowboy
Not in 10.5 you can't. There is no 'appearance' option in the finder menu. in 10.5 / Leopard there is an Appearance app in System preferences but there is no option to change the system font or the size. jcmendez51
There is a View Option in the Finder menu between Edit and Go options. Then there's the Show view options (last), open it and there's where you can change the icon's font size. Default is 12 pts.

Um, changing the font in Finder isn't going to affect system-wide fonts, which is obviously what the OP asked. Finder is an application so it changes fonts only for Finder. Unfortunately Apple dropped the ball on this... I got a mac and can barely read the fonts (and yes my eyes are fine). Dropping the resolution isn't an option either since non-native resolutions look terrible. you change system font in finder > appearance > appearance options That only changes fonts in Finder... You'd notice that if you tried it yourself.
