weisman87
I recently installed Leopard on my PC, and after a lot of problems, I finally have it working. The problem is that I have no sound, and more importantly, very very poor display quality. I can't use dual monitors...each monitor displays the same thing. I'm using an ATI Radeon X1650 XT video card, and need the drivers that will make it work better with my Leopard OS. My resolution is absolutely TERRIBLE, and I'd like to get it back to 1024X1280 like I have on Windows. Is there any site or whatever where I can find good drivers that will help me? I've heard there are some sites with user-written drivers, but can't find them. If you know of any sound drivers, that would help as well. Im using the Intel D975XBX2 mobo. Someone help me! I'm starting to go insane from the terrible display and no sound.
~pcwiz
You could try using this method which supposedly works for all X1000 cards: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=73949 Or you could try this other method meant for the X1650 PRO with TIGER (no guarantees it will work): http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=52826 You could also try DiaboliK's NatitX1600. Go here: http://diabolik1605.com/DHF/index.html Click on "Natit for ATI Cards" and in the window that pops up choose the NatitX1600 Installer.
