xtraa
I can't find the icons and I want to change some of them, Is there a folder somewhere you can cd to that has the icons or are they in each ap? You can use Candybar and pixadex for your Icons and apps. They also work very good together. Also, I would not try to change OSX Themes. It is very easy to mess up your install with that and also the brushed apps like Safari and Finder won't change atm. But here is a nice OSX-Themes HowTo with everything in it from do it yourself to Shapeshifter: http://www.chatelp.org/index.php?id=34 FOR FREE Edited January 26, 2006 by xtraa
39thRonin
xtraa; Have you ever gotten Shapeshifter to run? I ran into wierd ppc-ish errors - even when running the app under rosetta. I'm looking forward to unibins of the unsanity apps - they look very useful...
xtraa
xtraa; Have you ever gotten Shapeshifter to run? I ran into wierd ppc-ish errors - even when running the app under rosetta. I'm looking forward to unibins of the unsanity apps - they look very useful... No dice. I then tried it with themechanger, a free app that I really can't recommend, and a weird HowTo. Plus some extra-tools, to convert shapeshifter themes to themechanger. It took me hours, and I also made backup copies from the modificated files. Results were that 1. osx did not start the GUI at all or 2. Only thing skinned was the app itself and the menubar it is really not worth it, as long as shapeshifter isn't UniBin. Meanwhile I found another app that makes everything cocoa-looking, especially the brushed parts. But I am too afraid to use it http://gui.interacto.net/index.php Edited January 26, 2006 by xtraa
