podarok
Really good day! After making SATA fully working I using the same method add support for Marvell 88SE61xx onboard PATA controller and make it possible to use it in Tiger Patch in my signature My system is Tiger 10.4.11 Installation only for P5K-SE with pci id`s 0x29268086 and 0x29218086 and Marvell Id 0x612111ab Installation 1. Revert any kext patches for your SATA and PATA chipset 2. Install kext from attachement against current in your system 3. Fix permissions using Dusk Utility 4. Remove file:///System/Library/Extensions.kextcache and file:///System/Library/Extensions.mkext 5. Reboot and post bugs here Good luck!!!

Beerkex'd
Marvell 88SE6121 Update! Apparently there's a problem with the ATA drivers where they won't work on systems with more than 2 GB RAM. This is fixed in the darwin-ata drivers. Even though I only have 2GB RAM I wanted to try copying the entries from your kext for my Marvell PATA controller (88SE6121) and insert them in the new AppleVIAATA.kext from the darwin-ata project. It works! http://code.google.com/p/darwin-ata/downloads/list Original thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...amp;mode=linear
CJP2
I can confirm that this works with the kexts in the thread Beerkex'd linked to above for my Marvell 88SE6101 (11ab:6101, rev b2). So far I've only tested in 10.5.
