vikingboy
overlordqd you cant do an upgrade install with the flat image... it'll wipe out all your previous data.. try ToH RC2 DVD... works fine for an upgrade install
helob
I used Toh to upgrade my Uphuck 10.4.9 on P4 3.0G 2.0GB RAM and ATI x1600Pro 512MB AGP card. The upgrade proceeded smoothly but on reboot durung Darwin run, I ceratinly get a blue screen with an active cursor ( can move with my mouse ). I have try reboot wit -v -x, -v -s, -v -legacy but none of them help. Still end up with blue screen. Anyone has any success with leo upgrade from 10.4.9 with ATI x1600Pro 512MB AGP card? Jeff Hayford
I have a Toshiba laptop running 10.4.9 and I'm staring at my ToH iso. Will I be able to upgrade to 10.5 without getting a blue screen of death? best jeff

ninetto
UPGRADE from Jas 10.4.8 to ToH's fantastico 10.5.0 went without a hitch for me. Install took about 15 min. ! Simply installed Leo OVER the Tiger partition. The install was on its own separate (IDE) drive. Just had to tweak my video drivers since my nvida AGP card died and I was stuck with a bit cumbersome ati x1600. Only other thing bugging me is that whereas Jas recognized both cores of my CPU, Leo is reporting only one. The GUI is raging fast though, so I will ignore this until testing with some intensive programs (e.g. FCP...) good luck, ninetto
