Not Moving Past "Do you Already own a MAC"

<br />I found out that if you set the screen resolution too low, that post-installer application will be skipped completely.<br /><br />Press F8 to get to the darwin boot prompt and add this to the boot options (include the quotes):<br /> "Graphics Mode"="640x480x32"<br /><br />Obviously, I was using an old monitor when I did that installation.<br /><br /><br />

I also had this problem and the solution in my case it was the beginning of the installation the option to customize, do not select any network driver, after that it worked well.

Hey, sorry for the big bump, but this isn't working for me :blink:

I'm installing on an older PC, I think it's an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice core. The install went fine, but I can't boot up. I'm using a PS/2 mouse and keyboard but already copied the driver over to the hdd from the DVD. Whenever I boot with not options, I get this:

 

Darwin Kernel Version 9.1.0 Fri Nov 16 ...

It's actually a bit longer but I think you get the point. It just hangs here. Nothing happens :(

Anyone know why?
