manitoba98 Posted October 31, 2007 Share Posted October 31, 2007 I've read plenty of horror stories about the Aluminum iMac with either the Tiger 1.1 update or Leopard (which apparently includes it). Is this true? How bad is it? Does it affect all new iMacs, or only some percentage? And finally, does it affect new iMacs shipping with Leopard? I'm considering purchasing a 20" Aluminum iMac with Leopard, but I'd like to know more about these issues first. (Apple acknowledged the freezing bug on October 4, but has apparently yet to release a fix...what I don't know, is why they don't just roll out a "1.1.1" or whatever update which reverts the changes in 1.1.
