Poap Posted October 30, 2007 Share Posted October 30, 2007 So I can't seem to get my hard drives to partition to HFS+ during install of OSx86. I've tried Disk Utility, and diskutil from the terminal, both fail to work. I've also tried two different releases, Uphuck and mac.nub's wonderful release. I've tried pre-formating them to everything from NTFS, FAT32, and Unpartitioned Space. Anyways, when I try to partition or erase using Disk Utility, the process simply times out. When I use diskutil from the terminal, I get failed errors. So, anyone know what I should do? Anyone else ever had this problem? Is there a bios or jumper setting I should mess with? I know that both drives are perfectly fine because I've used, and am using, Windows and Linux on them. My specs are as follows. 2 hard drives, both SATA, and both built by different companies and with different sizes (250GB and 350GB) (The 250GB is running XP Pro 64) eVga 680i SLI motherboard.
