Tmac-Steak Posted October 30, 2007 Share Posted October 30, 2007 A few weeks ago I Wanted to make a tripe boot Mac, Linux (Ubuntu) and Vista it doesn't work fine and i hated linux and vista so i started up from the linux dvd and deleted the Windows and Linux partitions and created an new partition for windows XP.I installed Windows XP on the new partition I reboot choosed windows and... I get a massage Invalid Boot.ini Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: Windows\System32\Hal.dll when I go back to mac and opened Disk unity I see the windows HD and the partitona table still have the linux partitions:Partities1.tiffWhen I installed vista everything works well but with XP It still can't start up Please help PS sorry for my bad english I am dutch By the Way I Don't like to reinstal Macintosh couse the computer isn't only mine Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
