Add Extensions to built-in PHP in Leopard!

Ave,

I got the built-in PHP & Apache 2 working for me, and they work absolutely fine. I also got the last mySQL DMG package, installed it, fixed a couple of issues with it and it's working fine as well.

My problem stems from the fact that the PHP 5.2.4 that came with Leopard is pretty rudimentary, hardly any extensions pre-compiled. Unfortunately the current Entropy PHP 5.2.4 is NOT compatible with Leopard - upon installation it gives the infamous "postflight script error".

My problem is that I need the "dbase" & "GD" extension working with my PHP. I know the Entropy PHP 5.2.4 comes with these extensions pre-loaded - but since it's not compatible with Leopard yet, my only other choice would be to somehow add these extensions & make them work with the built-in PHP.

Is there any way I can Add these 2 extensions to the working current PHP in my Leopard?

Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
