Zomgrei Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to this whole homebrew Mac scene, but I did get OS X (uphuck 10.4.9 for AMD) up and running. My only issue is that the system is running at 60-90% idling (with all apps closed and menu meters running). Anyone got any suggestions? I took a look and the Activity Monitor shows that the system is taking up that huge amount of CPU, and only 30-10 percent is idling. Will this much activity burn out my CPU?
