Hello world,

ive installed Leopard, Leopard final, but I've a question.

Ive installed perian, and filp4mac, and I can see my divx with quicktime.

Why I cant see it on frontrow????

I only see a black screen, with sound and no image?

Last question, is possible to change the aurora desktop under the login system ?

thanks so much to all

I don't know how to help fix your front row problem, but I can tell you how to change the login window background. You simply replace the .jpg at /system/Library/CoreServices/DefaultDesktop.jpg and that will become the login window background.

One solution that I have working now: save your divx videos as QT reference movies. then, you can play then in FR, or for more options, add them to iTunes. I can PM you a great script that automatically does this many files at once. disclaimer: I did not write the script.

Just download "xvid_1.0alpha.dmg" and copy "Xvid_Codec 1.0 alpha.component" to /Library/QuickTime

doubleclick your .avi movie and let start it with Quicktime.

if your movie is ok, reboot your mac.

After restart start FrontRow and enjoy your avi (xvid) movies!!

I have a somewhat similar but slightly different issue. I am trying to play an avi video. I already downloaded and installed the xvid component for quicktime. The video opens in quicktime just fine. I can watch it, but there is no sound.
