Installed natit universal on wrong kernel version

Damn I messed up, and now I desperately need your help!

Everything was working fine with my Nvidia GeForce Go 7400 for the last few months. I used the Natit installer that came on the Jas 10.4.8 disk. Unfortunately there was no support for an external monitor that I wanted to use, and I carelessly installed the Natit Universal installer, found here: http://installers.dl.am/ I say careless because I didn't realize at the time that it only worked with an older kernel version.

To make a long story short, I now can't get past the "Starting Mac OS X..." screen. The blue loading bar takes much longer that it normally does, and then it just never boots into OS X, simply staying on the "Starting Mac OS X..." screen. I've tried booting with -x for safe mode, but it does the same thing. Does anybody have any suggestions? I've got a lot of important documents on the partition that I haven't backed up, and I'd really like to get back to OS X.

Thank you so much!

Thanks Mark, i already knew such wiki ... but (tell me if i am wrong) it seems to be quite outdated.

The latest versions are for 10.4.8 . Should i assume that for 10.4.10 there are no newer versions than those ones ? What about nvidia kexts ? Should i use 10.4.8 , 10.4.9 or 10.4.10 ones ?

Thanks!

Mal

Thanks Lord, that's what I did and it works fine now.

It does seem that all the info for the Natit project is outdated. Kind of hard to sort through the garbage. I still wish I could get my external monitor working. Any suggestions?
