in this topic i will give my opinion in this issue.

issue? why? because we have a hackintosh (hack) not a legal OS at all (In My Opinion).

In my opinion, if apple could support pc and make Mac To pc (legal),it will increase it money and customers.

but i don't know why it doesn't support pc? i don't think apple don't hear about hackintosh even now but what will it do about that?

in the past apple has motorola processor (ppc) and now it has intel and we had it too,ram mouse keyboard,Display,Dvd or Cd Room, and other specs like Mac Computer what the Difrrence about pc and mac now? and why apple don't support pc now?

the support time is came, isn't it,apple?

i will wait your opinion about that guys and discuss it.

regards.

Apple sells HARDWARE, not SOFTWARE.

Supporting PCs could (and probably will) lead to lower Macs sales.

I think Apple is aware of Hackintoshes but don't think they're stupid, they know that only a not-so-much-important percentage of users will spend DAYS to install OSX86.

How many times do we have to go over this, every new user? :thumbsdown_anim:

Apple has too much to lose by not controlling its hardware base. (it also affects non-computer products, iphone, ipod etc)

With increased OS sales on "PC" platforms, Apple would also have much increased development costs and support costs, just to name a few.

And lets be honest, no matter how we want to rationalize how/why we are running OSx86 now, if OS X was available for PCs a large percentage of users would still grab it from a bittorrent just the same. So how much increased sales would there really be?

Don't be sorry! People aren't born speaking English. It's simply idiotic to think everyone in a forum as popular as this is going to have perfect grammar.

I DON'T HAVE A LIFE should try and speak and write in whatever your mother tongue is.

What's wrong with spending DAYS to install an OS. Windows users spend plenty of time installing their OS. :(

Anyway Apple doesn't sell OS X as an OS since so many people would switch from windows to it. It would become the dominant OS and people would find vulnerabilities in it making viruses. And their Mac computers would take a price hit since why would you buy a $1,999 Mac when you could make your own at New-egg.

why do people ever buy $1,999 computers when they could build their own?

because they are scared to build their own. I know a lot of people who will drop 1500 on a computer when they could build a better one for 700. I tell them this, and yet they still buy the dell.
