awall30
Hey everyone! Here is a bit of an odd one. My Hackintosh works fine, except for when I'm trying to use the dashboard. I can get into the dashboard fine, but when I try to open a widget (espn for example, but it's every widget) Just before the ripple effect, it crashes... in fact, finder resets itself. Sometimes, it hangs there, and I can pop up the force quit dialogue box, close the box without force quitting anything, and my dashboard is working ok. So, it's really narrowed down to the ripple effect from what I can tell. I've updated drivers, so now my vid card is showing up as Generic Nvidia instead of unknown Nvidia in system profiler, but that didn't fix the issue. Here is what I'm running... Jas install 10.4.8 (Had Issue) patched update to 10.4.10 (Issue Remains) Intel E4300 Core 2 Duo Processor P5LD2 motherboard MSI Nvidia GeForce 7300 Everything else works fine, Quartz Extreme runs flawless. My system is fast, stable and has no issues besides this one. I'm guessing Core Image problem. Driver related.
