I got Mac OS X 10.4.8 on my P4 laptop.
But my mic. doesnt work,
I want to use VoIP software to call people, but that doesnt work without a working mic.

In the Sound options in System preferences, it doesnt detect any sound or something
also there isnt any 'port' in the input section.

Output section says:
Name: Line Out
Port: AC97 Audio (PCM)

Input section:
Name: Mic, CD, Line In, Sterio Mix, Mono Mix,
No port anywhere...

Some help please?
